Catherine S. Greene

Catherine S. Greene is a Compliance Operations Manager and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) leader for Forefront. She brings more than a decade of experience strengthening compliance systems, improving audit readiness, and helping organizations operate with greater accountability and efficiency.

At Forefront, Catherine leads statewide quality improvement and compliance operations, partnering with more than 30 nonprofit agencies to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and funding requirements. She directs multidisciplinary audit teams, delivers executive-ready assessments, and designs practical remediation strategies that reduce regulatory exposure while supporting operational effectiveness. She manages staffing and precise placement of subject matter experts/consultants on active onsite fieldwork assignments including peer, management and organization performance reviews throughout the company’s regional and national footprint. Her work has contributed to measurable reductions in compliance violations and meaningful improvements in audit accuracy and consistency.

Throughout her career, Catherine has built scalable governance frameworks, standardized control testing processes, and developed training systems that increase organizational capacity across multiple regions. She is known for translating complex regulations into clear, actionable systems that balance risk mitigation with real-world program delivery.

Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Florida International University and dual master’s degrees in Social Work and Public Administration from Florida State University. She is also a Certified GRC Professional and ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor.
