Marcia Tavares

Senior Management Consultant

Marcia Tavares is a Senior Management Consultant with FOREFRONT and has a broad range of experience in both private and non-profit management including program development, quality improvement/assurance, fiscal management, program budgeting, contract management and monitoring, development of monitoring tools, policy writing, grant writing, staff training and development, and evaluation of social service agencies. Mrs. Tavares has over 27 years of combined experience working with at risk youth and families, CINS/FINS, Child Welfare, and Family Services agencies in Florida . During the earlier 8 years of this period, Mrs. Tavares directed the quality assurance program for a statewide CINS/FINS service provider to ensure provision of quality services, licensing, continuous quality improvement, and contract and fiscal compliance with nonprofit regulations. Mrs. Tavares has led the agencies to obtain national accreditation certifications and demonstrated proven success in implementing performance and outcomes management, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processes.


In her role as Senior Forefront Management Consultant, Mrs. Tavares has delivered quality improvement, compliance monitoring, management consulting, training, data analysis, and technical assistance services for human services public and private agencies throughout the nation for the past 19 years. She has a deep knowledge of human service policies and procedures, standard operating procedures, national accreditation requirements, licensing standards, and multiple industry regulations. As a former Adjunct Professor, Marcia Tavares has experience creating and delivering curriculum which has been instrumental in her development and delivery of training topics, including the quality assurance Peer Certification training which she has delivered as the lead facilitator for over 10 years. Marcia Tavares holds a Bachelor’s degree in biology from the State University of New York (SUNY) Binghamton as well as a Master’s degree in health services administration (MHSA) from Florida International University.
